l       The instrument will initializes before displayed every time after power on. Please restart the instrument if the environment is changed when in use.

l       When the sign of the battery is sparkling with alarm, please change the battery.

l       Make sure to clean the connector be tested before measurement.

l       When the event number is sparkling isochronously with alarm, the measured value may be caused by double reflection, please press the down key to find the correct value

l       Pressing the key starts measurement, the instrument displays the relative distance of fault after 10 seconds. Fault number displays from far distance to near. If there is no fault or the

      distance is out of the range, the LCD will display zero.

l       If“Hi”displayed in the left side of the LCD, then event will be reflection point, if “Lo”displayed in LCD. then the event will be no reflection point.

l       Pressing the key and the key can display the various fault location in order, five in most.

l       Pressing the key to power on the VFL function.

l       If the instrument has any malfunction, please contact with manufacturer, do not disassemble the instrument without permission, or it may cause further problem or danger.

Safety terms

l       To avoid harming your eyes, do not stare the optical output part, when using   the instrument.

l       Avoid leaving the instrument in direct sun light, or near heat sources.

l       The instrument using 2*AA batteries.

l       The rear cover of the instrument should only be opened to change the battery.  

l       Always replace the input interface cap when the instrument is not in use.

FL-H06 FAULT LOCATOR User Manual

FL-H06 Fiber Fault Locator（Mini OTDR） is the new product designed by our company and granted with patent rights. The palmtop shell is made of ABS engineering plastic. The instrument has two fiber ports, one is for fiber length measurement and fiber fault locating by using the method of Optical Time Domain Reflection technology, the other is the out port of visible light with the wavelength of 650nm, it is main used for find broken point in pigtail or jump, and also used in fiber checking.

The instrument can find maximum 5 points one time, battery sign and event type(reflection point or no reflection point) are also displayed, if no operation, it will auto-shutdown in 3 minutes. The instrument is widely used in fiber communication, security and surveillance systems, fiber CATV system, fiber wiring project and maintenance, fiber net inspection and so on.

A filmy button is used for turning on/off. Just press the button, the results will be shown on the screen immediately. This product is very simple and convenient. It is powered by two AA batteries and easy for carrying. It is a new, effective and multifunctional Fiber Fault Locating facility.
